Expand your Wine Experience and Knowledge

With over 60 wines from different regions and styles, tastings allow you to step outside your comfort zone and try something new, whether it's an unfamiliar grape variety or a unique blend.

Chat with winery representatives and knowledgeable staff who can guide you through the tasting process and offer insights about the wines you're sampling!

Take advantage of event-exclusive deals...many wine tasting events offer special pricing, so it’s a great opportunity to score fantastic wines at a discount - especially if you want to stock up before the Holidays.

Tips to Maximize Your Walk-Around Tasting Experience

Now that you’re sold on attending, here are a few playful tips to help you make the most of this experience - and keep your wine-sipping etiquette on point.

1. Pace Yourself, it's a marathon, not a sprint!
Sixty wines? It sounds like a challenge, but remember, wine tasting is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s okay to swirl and sniff and snack your way through half the room without draining your glass each time. That brings us to…

2. Spit, Don’t Swallow!
We know, spittoons can be a little intimidating but trust us: they’re your best friend at a wine tasting. If you’re aiming to try a wide variety of wines without feeling too tipsy halfway through, spitting is perfectly acceptable (and expected!). Channel your inner pro and gracefully spit into the provided containers, so you can keep your wits about you and savor every last sip.

3. Take Notes, Snap Pics
Tasting so many wines can feel like a whirlwind. Take notes on your favorites - or snap pictures of the bottles with your phone so you remember which ones to stock up on. If you prefer a more hands-free experience, Ambassadors, Distributors and Springfield Wine Exchange’s expert staff will be on hand to help you keep track of what you love and keep things fun.

4. Talk to the Reps
Don’t hesitate to strike up conversations with the winery reps or wine shop staff. They’re not just there to pour; they can tell you about the winemaking process, the region where the wine hails from, and what food pairs perfectly with it. Ask questions! You might just find your new favorite wine (and learn something fun along the way).

5. Stay for the Fun
With live music adding to the atmosphere and hors d’oeuvres to keep your energy up, this event isn’t just about the wine - it’s about the experience. Wine tastings can be an absolute blast, whether you’re there with friends or flying solo. It’s the perfect mix of entertainment and education.

Grab Your Tickets Today!

If you’ve ever been curious about expanding your wine knowledge - or just want a fun night out for yourself, your friends or even an after-work holiday treat - this is your chance.
